The Heart Behind Mill Students

These years are loud, fast, and a lot to carry.

It's a place where your student is known by name, not just by grade or grade point average. Where they get to ask hard questions about faith and actually get real answers. Where they're surrounded by adults who show up for them week after week, and other students walking through the same stuff they are.

Our goal isn’t just to put your student in a room full of people. We want every student to have trustedadults who know them, invest in them, and help them follow Jesus.

Pastor Jason leads this one himself. He's not up on a stage far away. He's in the room, in the group chats, at the games, showing students what it looks like to follow Jesus with everyday courage.

Your student doesn't need to have it all figured out. They just need somewhere to start.

Man in green jacket holding baby while woman in yellow adjusts baby carrier indoors with people in background.
A group of people engaged in conversation inside a room, one man holding books and another wearing a white cap.
Two women smiling and embracing outdoors, one holding a coffee cup and wearing a name badge.

What to expect

Simple, safe, and made for these years.

Mill Students is open to students in 6th through 12th grade.

Here's what your student can count on.

They'll be known.

Not just a face in the crowd. Our leaders know their names, their stories, and what's really going on in their lives.

They'll be safe.

Every Mill Students leader is a covenant member of this church, has passed a background check, and has gone through leader training.

They'll be taught the truth, in a way that makes sense.

No lectures, no lists of rules. Just honest conversations about the Bible and what it means to actually live it out.

They'll have fun.

Real fun. Games, trips, late nights, inside jokes. Faith was never meant to feel boring, and neither is this.

You get to relax knowing your student is somewhere good.

Every week, we show up together.

Students gather each week to worship, dig into the Bible, and just be together. It's loud sometimes. It's quiet sometimes. It's always real.

Throughout the year, we add in bigger moments too, trips, camps, service projects, and events, so your student gets to see their faith stretch outside these walls, not just inside them.

They may come in unsure. They leave knowing they're not the only one.
